We are delighted to welcome two new teachers to Deakin Music. Ryan and Adam are both going to be teaching piano lessons throughout the week.
Welcome to Ryan!
We are delighted to welcome our new piano teacher Ryan to our Team at Deakin Music.
Ryan Yard is a self employed musician from Newport Shropshire. He works as a piano teacher both within school settings and online and has a 100% student pass rate with most achieving a distinction grade in exams.
Ryan holds a 1st class honours degree in composition from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and is fully trained as a teacher with QTS achieved via the PGCE route with 7 years mainstream classroom experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Music.
Ryan writes his own music with a fondness for contemporary classical and progressive rock inspired styles and has built a loyal fanbase over the years. His music has been frequently played on BBC radio and he has written music for the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
Alongside all of the above, Ryan also writes books on music related subjects as well as entry level piano pieces for the aspiring pianist and for younger pupils.

Telford Youth Theatre
We are pleased that Telford Youth Theatre can resume rehearsals from September. TYT is for people ages 9 - 18. As well as rehearsing for shows and concerts, members will learn valuable skills in singing, acting and dance.
We will begin rehearsing in September for a full staged concert to be performed later in the year.
